Sri Rajiv Gandhi polytechnic college was established in the year 2008 of July by the excellent public service motivator Thiru.G.Rajan M.C.A., of Saraswathi Educational and Charitable Trust. He has gathered totally 9 years of working experience in Polytechnic College, started his career as a lecturer and stepped up as Head of the Department, Administrative Officer and finally now Correspondent & Secretary. Our college comprises many members including Doctors, Professors, Engineers and Industrialists adds an extra feather on the cap. Always their valuable contribution and encouragement has given a new impetus to our work. We are providing an international standard of higher education even to the students coming from rural area. It persistently seeks and adopts innovative methods to improve the quality of higher education on a consistent basis.

Sri Rajiv Gandhi polytechnic college is committed to provide our students with the latest and best of education in the field of education and technology and to make students fit academically , aesthetically and physically to face the challenges in the developing world..


Our college is located in Erode-Chennimalai main road, Erode and it has been constructed in five acres land area. The environment-friendly green campus is having computing facilities, laboratories and several architecturally striking buildings, where every need of both student and faculty is met. About, 500 students live in comfort in a congenial atmosphere.


Our vision is to educate students from all over India, including those from the local and rural areas, so they become enlightened individuals, improving the living standards of their family and society. We will provide individual attention, world-class quality education and take care of character building. We aspire to establish a system of Quality assurance, which would on a continuous basis evaluate and monitor the quality of education and training imparted at the Institute, improve the teaching-learning process and ultimately developing the Institute as a Centre of Excellence.


Mentorship program in which a group of 20-25 students have been assigned as mentees to a faculty member as their mentor. It aims to enhance interaction between the students and faculty members and establish a stronger bond of trust and confidence there by helping students with general and career counseling.
